R&D Human Capital, Renewable Energy and CO2 Emissions: Evidence from 26 Countries

This study examines the long-term relationship between carbon emissions and a number of researchers engaged in Research Development (R&D), economic development, foreign capital inflows, renewable energy population growth 26 countries 1995 2015. Pedroni’s panel cointegration test confirms cointegrating variables. Long-term elasticities are derived from FMOLS regression. Researchers R&D negatively significantly related to emissions. There is positive significant GDPs per capita CO2 FDI CO2. Dumitrescu Hurlin’s causality revealed unidirectional running development feedback hypotheses
